Leon Gordon Miller & Me
The most influential person in my professional life was Leon Gordon Miller. I had the privilege of associating with him from the very beginning of my career in the art world. Even though our relationship was cut short due to Leon's illness and death, it left its imprint on my conduct and the quality of my art gallery forever.
Leon and his wife, Polly, were true renaissance people with a vast interest in the arts, photography, traveling and writing. Their impressive home and studio in the heart of Shaker Heights, Ohio was filled with pre-Colombian art, an extensive book collection, a large fine art collection, and unique furniture some of which was designed by Leon.
Leon Gordon Miller's professional and artistic accomplishments include a long list of national and international achievements and awards. He won honors in the architectural arts, sculptures, stained glass, ceremonial art and textile design.

1976 was Mr. Miller's last show and the opening of my gallery. We exhibited a range of his work, including his entire collection of black and white woodcuts dating back to his experiences with the United States Army in Europe during World War II and my collaboration with him on his new colorful serigraphs.
I'm offering this collection for sale on my site for the first time and hope you'll enjoy the artistic and intellectual mind of Leon Gordon Miller.
The late Felix Wall of American Screen Printing in Cleveland, Ohio gets all the credit for the prints’ technical perfection and Lublin Graphics, Inc. of Greenwich, Connecticut for their support in publishing Mr. Miller's serigraphs.
