The cause we are supporting this year is the very worthy Butterfly Project.
The Butterfly Project is a call to action through education, the arts and memorial making. Teaching social justice through lessons of the Holocaust, educating participants about the dangers of hatred and bigotry to cultivate empathy and social responsibility. By painting ceramic butterflies, which are displayed as symbols of resilience and hope, participants remember the 1.5 million children killed during the Holocaust. In this work, The Butterfly Project honors our commitment to the Survivors to Never Forget. This organization brings a novel and creative approach to Holocaust education, and we are proud to support them.
Southern California being the rider’s paradise that it is, there is no shortage of great rides, and we have some exceptional ones planned.
One is the 2 ½ hour ride to Idyllwild, California, a small mountain town 5,000 feet up in the San Jacinto mountains. Perfect for a ride on a summer (or fall or spring) day, virtually inaccessible during the winter. The tiny town, with shops and restaurants and makes for a great destination.

Fresh pastries at the Idyllwild Bake Shop
For those looking for a little more adventure, there is also a planned ride down the coast to Bahia Ensenada, Mexico.
