JMA Charitable Donations

Last year the cancelled 2021 R2R in Chattanooga generated a donation totaling $46,200 from an exceptionally generous $25,000 matching grant from Cleveland Shul Boys Barb and Abe Miller, along with R2R registration money turned into contributions by JMA members, plus JMA club contributions.

Last fall the Paperclips Museum applied for 501(c)3 status and didn’t want to accept the JMA donation until that process was complete, so they would have total control of the funds. It now has been, with recognition by the IRS of the Whitwell Education and Heritage Foundation as a tax-exempt, charitable entity in its own right. (Previously they had been under fiscal sponsorship of another organization in Whitwell, TN.) I want all contributors to know that your donation has been passed along to the Whitwell museum. Thank you again for supporting the Jewish Motorcyclists Alliance mission of Holocaust awareness and education. Bruce Ente (he/him), Treasurer Jewish Motorcyclists Alliance

Many registrants for the cancelled 2021 R2R chose to convert some or all of their paid registration fee into a tax-deductible contribution. Their generosity meant thousands and thousands of dollars were passed along to the Whitwell Paperclips Museum for their capital campaign. Bravo!
