Prepared by Bruce Ente, JMA Treasurer
JMA First Quarter 2022 Treasurer's Report
In the interests of fiscal transparency, I am pleased to submit the summary below of Jewish Motorcyclists Alliance assets and liabilities as of March 31, 2022. The "bottom line": our organization is financially healthy!
Assets in Huntington Bank checking account = $58,771.40
JMA funds = $58,696.63
2022 R2R funds = $74.77
Liabilities = $46,200.11
We are holding the money raised by last year's (canceled) Ride2Remember in Chattanooga,Tennessee at the request of the Whitwell Holocaust Memorial (aka the "paperclips museum") while they are in the process of securing designation from the IRS as a 501(c)3 charity. When the Memorial is recognized as a tax-exempt charitable organization, the JMA funds will be transferred to them.
JMA Operating Balance = $12,496.52
For your information, in the first three months of this year, we had income from an AmazonSmile donation of $11.23 plus sale of two patches and a hat; we paid monthly MailChimp fees, annual computer expenses, annual liability insurance premium, and State of Delaware incorporation fees. JMA club Reps (and through them, individual club members) are welcome to raise questions or share any comments about this financial statement.
What a crisp, incisive picture of the JMA's finances!
